Guzzling Along the Mekong

Beerlao

Vientiane, Laos - I was given strict advice before heading to Vientiane: have a Beerlao by the Mekong at sunset. Given that Laos’ national brew is pretty tasty, heads above its neighboring counterparts, that wasn’t a problem.

    Hi Mari:
    This is a facinating travel blog…please keep it up. The only suggestion I would make is to occasionally include a picture of yourself, for the fans at home.

    Thanks Tom! I thought only my mother was reading this and she knows what I look like. I’ll try to post some pictures in the future, though I think the food is much more interesting.
